Meet Whitney Sewell
As a husband, adoptive father of five, former police officer, and U.S. military veteran, I know firsthand the pressure of providing, leading, and trying to hold it all together.
While serving in the Army National Guard, I spent 2005 deployed in Iraq, where I was honored as Soldier of the Year. When I returned home, I joined the Kentucky State Police, serving my community during the day while training horses at night to help make ends meet.
I was proud of my work, but over time, the 12-hour days began to take a toll. I realized that a career in law enforcement would never provide the life I envisioned for my family, and I was tired of never seeing my new bride, Chelsea.
We both wanted her to be able to stay home when we had children, but we couldn’t see how that would be possible on a salary of only $28k per year. We prayed the Lord would show us.
In 2011, I accepted a position as a Federal Agent and we moved to Virginia. That first weekend, we learned about the number of children in the world without families and the beautiful picture of adoption. We started the adoption process right away, having no idea how the Lord was going to use this to bless our family and so many others.
Then, a few years and adoptions later, we made the difficult but life-changing decision to sell our family farm and walk away from my career so I could be fully present at home. It was a leap of faith that changed everything.
That decision led me into entrepreneurship and real estate, where I went on to build a real estate investment firm dedicated to creating both financial and eternal impact.
Along the way, I launched The Real Estate Syndication Show, where I produced and hosted over 2,000 episodes featuring accomplished business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs from across the country. The show quickly became one of the most respected shows in the industry, reaching millions of listeners and giving me a front-row seat to the challenges leaders face behind closed doors.
Today, through WhitneySewell.com, I teach high-achieving men how to build businesses that thrive without burning them out, strengthen their marriages and fatherhood, and anchor their lives in biblical truth. I do this through Courageous Men Coaching, the Courageous Men Podcast, and Win Where It Counts, a practical course designed to help men realign their priorities and lead with focus and faith.
Chelsea and I are also the founders of The Omnah Foundation, a nonprofit that removes financial barriers to adoption so more children can grow up in gospel-centered homes. Having adopted five children ourselves, this mission is deeply personal. It’s our way of living out God’s call to care for orphans and families in need.
Whether I’m coaching a business leader, speaking to a room full of men, or serving alongside my wife through Omnah, my mission remains the same: to help men follow God faithfully, love their families well, and build legacies that last.

About the Omnah Foundation
The Omnah Foundation helps Christian families overcome the financial barriers of adoption so more children can grow up in loving, Christ-centered homes. With adoption costs often reaching $50,000–$75,000, many families who feel called by God to adopt simply can’t afford it. Through adoption grants, faith-filled resources, and prayer support, Omnah bridges the gap so money never stands in the way of saying “yes” to God’s call.
